Pak Lam Su

“Hi, I'm Pak, a 5th-year medical student at the University of Glasgow from Macao. Throughout my time here, I've been deeply involved in student leadership, serving as a General Representative for the Student Representative Council (SRC) and as the Undergraduate Convenor for the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences for three consecutive years. These roles gave me the opportunity to represent students at University Senate meetings and address both academic and welfare concerns. I was also honoured to be nominated for the Glasgow University Award for Campus Volunteering.

Academically, I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and was awarded the Dr Paldeep Singh Atwal Scholarship in Genomic and Precision Medicine. Beyond my studies, I have over two years of experience tutoring students, particularly in supporting medical school applications. Having gone through the process myself, I understand how competitive and stressful it can be.

I focus on guiding students through UCAT preparation and medical school interviews—both MMI and traditional panel styles—with the aim of making the process smoother, boosting confidence, and helping them stand out as strong applicants.”
